Top 10 bullies of Movies and TV

Since Halloween is just around the corner, I want to focus on mostly scary stuff. And you know what's scarier than zombies, vampires of werewolves? Bullies. Monsters that are extremely scary because unlike Dracula, these beast exist. they've been here since the beginning, and they'll continue to be here until the end of time. And just like the creepy ghost stories of the past, they've inspired equally intimidating characters seen in movies and TV. Sometimes they're funny, and sometimes they're just downright unpleasant. Here are the top 10 characters I consider the best bullies in movies and TV.

10. ANGELICA PICKLES (RUGRATS)

Talk about a misleading name! This little demon is far from Angelic. Angelica is the six year old cousin of Tommy Pickles. When the grown ups are watching, she plays the sweet, innocent darling. But when she's alone with the babies, she shows her true colors. A mean, bossy, conniving spoiled brat who treats her cousin and the rest of his baby friends like slaves. And if she wasn't creepy enough,  her only friend was her barbie doll that she mutilated. She's gonna grow up a sociopath.

9. MARIANNE BRYANT (EASY A)

All Olive Penderghast wanted to do was get her nosy best friend out of her hair, so she spun a tale about how she lost her V card to a guy that doesn't even exist. Little does she know that Super religious Marianne Bryant heard the whole thing, and told everyone on campus, turning Olive into the new school slut. Just because you love Jesus, doesn't mean you're not a douche.

8. BIFF TATTEN (BACK TO THE FUTURE)

Bill Tatten is one of the two "Stereotypical" bullies I put in this list. He's the typical one sided bully character who's been bullying Marty McFly for a long time. And what's even more amazing is that his Bullying transcends through time. There's a Biff in the 80's, there's a Biff in the 50's, there'a a biff in the cowboy era, there's even a Biff in 2015. The worst kind of Biff is a Biff with a Twitter account.

7. DRACO MALFOY (HARRY POTTER)

Hissss! there's nothing I hate more than a Snake. Draco is young Wizard who belongs to house Slytherin at Hogwarts School of Magic. He's rich, arrogant, spiteful, and very prejudicial against muggles and mud bloods. He's jealous of Harry and all the attention he gets. He's slightly creepy and possibly mentally unstable. Hermoine punching him on the face is the best thing ever.

Hell Yeah!!

6. JOFFREY BARATHEON (GAME OF THRONES)

There's a fine line between being a bully, and being a villain. Joffrey is both of these things. This little prick is the sadistic incest baby of Cersei Lannister and her Brother. Aside from being a compassionless sociopath, Joffrey is just very mean. I really, really hate him, and every time something bad happens to him, I always feel joy.

5. JOHNNY LAWRENCE (KARATE KID)

Johnny is the other "Stereotypical" bully on this list. He's a jerk and he doesn't apologize for it. He does these very despicable things to Daniel (Ralph Macchio) but for some twisted reason, I could never get mad at him. Yes, he's a jerk, but I just don't hate him as much as I hate Malfoy and Joffrey. Maybe it's because he's really hot. Before I even watched The Karate Kid, There was this poster at a cousin's house of shirtless William Zebka that made me question my sexual orientation, I mean just...

You can't tell right now, but I just came.

4. CHENG (THE KARATE KID)

In the remake of the Karate Kid, instead of getting the typical 80's bully, we get Cheng. a scary Chinese kid who shows no mercy to Dre (Jayden Smith). Unlike Johnny, who is just the run of the mill bully, Cheng is a fucking monster! Just the look in his eyes are enough to make you piss yourself. Good thing I live far away from China, because then I'm far away from kids like Cheng.

3. REGINA GEORGE (MEAN GIRLS)

How do I even begin to explain Regina George? She's the Queen Bee of North Shore high. She's rich, hot and a total bitch. She runs a clique of the most popular girls in North Shore known as "The Plastics". Regina walks up to you and compliments your clothes and features Oh my god. I love your skirt. Where did you get it?, and then trash you when you're not looking That is the ugliest effing skirt I've ever seen. And then she goes home and writes it down on her Burn Book, which is a recolored sketchbook in which she cuts out a picture of a girl from the yearbook, tapes it onto a Burn Book page and writes a mean comment about that girl. And when all tables are turned on Regina, she makes xerox copies of the pages and throws them all over the school, causing all the female students to fight one another.

2. CHRIS HARGENSEN (CARRIE 2013)

Why should blondes get to have all the fun? In this remake of the 70's hit, This Brunette proves that she can be just as mean as the blonde girls. If making fun of a poor girl's period wasn't bad enough, she takes her misdeeds a step further by orchestrating a prank involving Prom and a lot of Pig's blood.

1. ALISON DILAURENTIS (PRETTY LITTLE LIARS)

What's worse than a Queen Bee who talks smack about you behind your back? A Queen Bee that talks smack to your face. Before her "death", this girl bullied everyone, ranging from nerds to B-listers to People who were way older than her and even her own friends. Instead of talking about you when you weren't there, she talked about you and wanted you to here it.

Her bullying was so bad, that her victims still want revenge years later. And it's also her fault that the "A" was born. While Alison has become a nicer person in later episodes, She will always be the Bitchiest of them all to me.

Pretty Little Liars Movie fan casting

With Pretty little Liars closing in on it's final season, I thought about the possibility of a Pretty Little Liars movie. As much as I would love it to be an extension of the TV show, these women cannot keep playing High School girls. So if there was a PLL movie, it would have to be an reboot/adaptation of the books by Sara Shepard. And we'd also need a new director. Sorry, Marlene, but you have to go too.

DIRECTOR: SOFIA COPPOLA

Sofia Coppola is a great choice for a director. PLL is a teenaged girl driven story, so who better to direct than the director of The Virgin Suicides and The Bling Ring.

Now that we have a Director, who should star in it? Here's my choices.

SPENCER HASTINGS/OLIVIA HOLT

Spencer is the youngest daughter of the Hastings family. She's hardworking and very much an overachiever, winning many academic awards and prizes in her prep school Rosewood Day. Despite this, it seems like Spencer can't ever escape the shadow of her smarter, more perfect older sister, Melissa. I chose Olivia because she just looks right fro the role. And many of her roles in the Disney Channel is a smart, overachieving character.

HANNA MARIN/ARIEL WINTER

Hanna is the current "It" girl at Rosewood Day. She's beautiful, graceful and perfect in every way, but appearances can be very deceiving, because Hanna actually has a lot of problems. Back in 7th grade, she used to be the chubby girl of the group. often feeling ugly compared to her thin friends, Hanna convinced herself to throw up, gaining an eating disorder. Ariel Winter would be the perfect choice for Hanna, because she's incredibly beautiful, busty and can play both loser girl and it girl.

ARIA MONTGOMERY/JODELLE FERLAND

Aria Montgomery is the female Holden Caulfield. She is a free thinker, and does not want to conform to "Typical Rosewood" life, despite being best friends with Alison Dilaurentis, the most popular girl in all of Rosewood. After spending three years in Iceland, Aria moves back to Rosewood, still haunted by her missing friend, Ali. I picked Jodelle Ferland because of her physical resemblance to the book character, and her fashion choices in real life is something Aria probably would wear.

EMILY FIELDS/SOPHIE TURNER

Emily is the sporty girl of her Clique. She is the champion swimmer of Rosewood Day. Even though she comes from a very conservative family, she hides the fact that she is actually a lesbian, and was in love with her missing BFF Alison Dilaurentis. later, she meets Maya St. Germane, a new girl who Emily develops feelings for. Sophie Turner would be a great choice for many reasons. She looks like Emily, she is god at playing dainty girls with hidden secrets, and being in a show like Game of Thrones, there is probably nothing she can't handle.

ALISON DILAURENTIS/ELLE FANNING

The queen of mean herself. Ali was the most popular girl in all of Rosewood Day, up until she was murdered. She was beautiful and graceful, but also conniving and evil. She played cruel mind games with her BFFS, and showed no remorse to the people she victimized. For this role, I chose Elle Fanning, because if anyone is gong to play Queen Ali D, it's going to be a well known movie actress.

Now that we've cast the leading ladies, it's time to cast the supporting cast, A.K.A, the people who could be A

MONA VANDERWAAL/SARAH HYLAND

Mona is Hanna's current best friend. She was once a nerdy loser, but unlike Hanna, Ali was not her friend, and would constantly torment poor Mona. Three years later, Mona and Hanna are now the "It" girls of Rosewood day. Sarah Hyland would be a perfect choice, because Mona is very bitchy in the books, and Sarah is good at playing Bitchy characters.

MELISSA HASTINGS/ MARGOT ROBBIE

Melissa is Spencer's smarter, more beautiful older sister. Whatever Spencer has accomplished, Melissa has already done it twice as good. Spencer is very envious of Melissa. For Melissa, I chose Margot Robbie, just because I'm starting to become a fan of hers, and she's also got that elegant grace to her that's very Melissa Hastings.

EZRA FITZ/ALEX PETTYFER

Ezra is the AP English teacher at Rosewood Day. He and Aria make out in a bar after she returns from Iceland, not realizing that Ezra is her new English teacher. Alex Pettyfer would be an interesting cast, because just like Ezra, he's in that age where he's not a boy, but not quite a man yet.

DR. WREN KIM/KI HONG LEE

Wren is Melissa's boyfriend. He is of Asian descent, but was raised in England. The Hastings family takes a liking to Wren, Spencer especially. Ki Hong Lee of Maze Runner fame is probably who I would cast as Wren.

DARREN WILDEN/SCOTT EASTWOOD

Darren Wilden is the detective in charge of the Alison Dilaurentis murder case. He begins dating Ashley Marin, Hanna's Mother, in exchange for not charging Hanna with theft. For this part, I'd have to go with Scott Eastwood

MAYA ST. GERMANE/ZENDAYA

Maya St. Germane is the new girl in town. She moves into the old Dilaurentis house three years after the disappearance of Alison Dilaurentis. She becomes close with Emily Fields, and the two develop feelings for each other. For this role, I'd have to go with Zendaya.

JENNA CAVANAUGH/CIARA BRAVO

Jenna is the stepsister of Toby Cavanaugh. She's pretty, but not very popular. She is deathly terrified of her older stepbrother.  She was blinded in a "Freak accident" and has since dropped out of Rosewood Day, and enrolled in a school for the blind in Pennsylvania. I'd cast Ciara Bravo as Jenna.

TOBY CAVANAUGH/NICK ROBINSON

Toby is the older stepbrother of Jenna Cavanaugh. He is considered a freak in the Rosewood community, and is rightfully so. Toby scares many people, his stepsister Jenna included. For this part, I'd go with Nick Robinson.

ASHLEY MARIN/JULIA ROBERTS

Ashley is the mother of Hanna Marin. When Hanna was in seventh grade, Her husband tom left her and their daughter to fend for their own. They thrived without him, and are way more wealthier than before. She loves her daughter, though sometimes can seem neglectful. I'd cast Julia Roberts.

SEAN ACKARD/JIMMY PINCHACK

Hanna's boyfriend in Book 1. Hanna has had a crush on this guy since seventh grade, back when she was fat and pimply. Hanna becomes very disappointed when she finds out that Sean is saving his V card until marriage. For this part, I'd choose Jimmy Pinchak.

NOEL KAHN/LUKE BILYK

Noel Kahn is Aria's main love interest in the books. He is popular, handsome, athletic, and the last guy anyone expected to end up with Aria. Aria was the female Holden Caulfield. Free spirited and original, and he was a "Typical Rosewood Boy" or at least in her eyes. But somehow, they became the "It" couple of the book series. I'd cast Luke Bilyk.

So this is what I've got so far for the hypothetical Pretty Little Liars movie. Hopefully one does get made.

Top 10 characters of all time

What makes a good story? Great characters. Characters we're drawn to. Characters that we relate to, or characters we wish to be. Here are my top 10 favorite characters. Again, this is my opinion, so if you don't like what you see, go bitch to your mom or something.

10. SPEEDY/ROY HARPER

Speedy is so far my favorite superhero sidekick. He was raised by Navajo Indians, and became a master archer.  My favorite storylines involving speedy is the time he became a Heroin addict, and the time he lost his arm. Speedy for the most part is a tragic character, but he's got great friends to help him through it. And like most superheroes, he's unrealistically good looking.

9. GREEN LANTERN/HAL JORDAN

At one point in time, I was obsessed with Hal Jordan. For a brief moment, he was my favorite superhero, but then the movie came out, and I remembered Superman will always be my number one guy. But I will always have a soft spot for Green Lantern. Anyways, Hal Jordan is the second Green Lantern, and arguably the best. I know that Hal is kind of lame compared to the black John Stewart and the gay Allan Scott, but Hal Jordan is my favorite Green Lantern. Either him, or the talking squirrel.

8. CINDERELLA

I loves me a good Fairy Tale, and the best Fairy Tale ever is Cinderella, the story that has it's own version in every single country. Cinderella is many things. She's black, she's white. She's good, she's bad. She's light, she's dark. She's g rated movie, she's XXX movie. She's feminist, she's old fashioned. And how could she be so many things at once? Because there's so many versions of her story. You can make Cinderella whatever you want her to be. Don't like the time she leaves the ball? make it 3 AM. Don't like the rushed romance? Make her independent and not want to marry the prince. A great character is one you can make up.

7.  PHOEBE BUFFAY

Phoebe Buffay is my favorite character from Friends. Most people like Chandler or Rachel, but not me. I love me some Phoebe. She's a a character I don't see in most sitcoms these days. Hey, How I Met Your Mother. Where's your loony eccentric friend character? Don't have one? How about you, Big Bang Theory? No? Just a group of nerds and one hot girl? All, right. Your missing out, I guess. Anyways, Phoebe's backstory is this. When she was a little girl, her mom killed herself, and her stepdad went to prison, so Phoebe had to live in the streets, unlike her twin sister Ursula, who was probably put in a foster home. After a disappointing childhood and some tough teenaged years, Ursula found a road to Aroma therapy and became roommates with Monica, who's brother is Ross, who is in love with Rachel.  Across the street from them is Joey, who is roommates with Chandler, who will soon marry Monica. Yeah, it's all a big circle.  One interesting thing is Actress Lisa Kudrow was doing two sitcoms at the time. She was starring in Friends, and played a side character in Mad About You, two NBC shows that were next to each other on the time block. So, the show writers decided to make the two characters twin sisters. And that's how Phoebe and Ursula became twin sisters.

6. HANNA MARIN

Filling out 6 spot is another ditzy blonde. Hanna Marin from ABC Family's only good show, Pretty Little Liars. Hanna is the funniest, and saddest character in the show and books. In her early teens, her mom and dad got a divorce, causing her to eat her feelings out. She gained several pounds, and her "friend" Alison Dilaurentis coined the nickname "Hefty Hanna" When the girls were young, Hanna was often the butt of Ali's every joke. But when Ali disappeared, she became friends with a girl Ali used to bully and became the school's popular girl. She lost some pounds and gained some confidence. What I like about Hanna is that she's the funny girl of the group. She's always the one who says the funny zingers and one liners.

5. SPYRO THE DRAGON

Do I like Skylanders? Yes. Do I like Spyro's "not main character" role in Skylanders? No. Do I hate Spyro's new messed up, disgusting, ugly design? It's debatable. Do I love Spyro and all of the Spyro games, even the bad ones? Hell yeah!!! Spyro is my favorite video game character ever. Period. If I had to save one video game franchise in an ocean full of overrated Pokemon games and stupid, violent M rated games, I'd choose Spyro the Dragon. We can all learn a lesson from Spyro. Spyro is a tiny dragon, yet manages to save an entire race of dragons. He's also got a really cool dragonfly sidekick called Sparx, who is the best video game sidekick ever. So hopefully someday, I will see a Spyro video game similar to the old one.

4. SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS

Spongebob is my childhood Idol. I grew up on Spongebob, and when I have kids, they will too. What I love about Spongebob is that no matter what, he's an Optimist. Even though he has a horrible job and a nasty next door neighbor, he looks at it like a blessing. I'd kill myself before I become a loser who permanently works at a restaurant, but Spongebob sees it as the best job ever. The best Spongebob episodes are always the ones that came out in the early 2000's. The new ones kinda suck, and seems like it was made for the brain dead generation of the 2010's. The main reason is that after the first Spongebob movie, The original crew left and was replaced by a new set of writers. Probably a bad idea. But no matter what,  Spongebob is cartoon royalty.

3. GODZILLA

Godzilla, like Spongebob was only good in the beginning. the movies that came afterwards range from bad to mediocre. But aside from that, Godzilla, King of the Monsters is one of my favorite classic monster movies, and Godzilla, is my favorite giant monster ever. What I love about him is that he's a cautionary tale of Nuclear destruction. Godzilla was once a deep sea cave dwelling dinosaur of a certain species, but concentrated levels of Nuclear radiation mutated him into a atomic ray breathing behemoth. Godzilla is also a tragic character. In the beginning, Godzilla is an animal deformed by a human creation, and in the ending, He's destroyed by another human made weapon. It shows how humans can really ruin the life of another species. Now that's deep.

2. RAPUNZEL

I have been in love with the Rapunzel Fairy Tale for a long time. I love it so much, I remember the time I first read it. Cinderella might be the best fairy tale, but Rapunzel is the one I hold dearest to my heart. And then when Disney made Tangled, I only loved her more. In Tangled, Rapunzel is spiced up a bit, turning her from a Damsel in distress into a quirky, rebellious teenager.  When Rapunzel was a baby, she was a princess. Her hair is golden blonde because of a magic flower her mother drank to heal herself. But the witch who was previously using it kidnaps her and places her in a high tower hidden inside a valley. As she gets older, she gets more rebellious and fascinated by the outside world, especially the mysterious floating lights that appear on her birthday every year.

1. SUPERMAN

So, I sleep in a bunk bed. I sleep in the bottom bunk, and the one who occupies the top bunk is a life sized Superman doll I got for Christmas. That's how much I love the Man of Steel, and I mean Superman. Not the movie. That movie sucked. Superman will always be my favorite. In an ocean full of Batmans and Avengers, The big fish I caught has an S-shield on it. I've watched every single Superman movie, watched Superman: The Animated Series, and bought Super Scribblenauts for Superman's sake. What I like about Superman is how he truly is alone. Now, anyone can be Batman or Spider-man, but Superman isn't someone you can be, he's someone you could only dream to be. And unlike Batman, who claims he works alone, when he has a dozen sidekicks, Superman truly is alone. Aside from Supergirl and Superdog, Kal-El is by himself. Another thing I like about Supes is that he doesn't wear a mask, so that people can see he's just one of them, instead of being shrouded by mystery, like all the superhero movies that came out in the early 2000's. Superman truly is my favorite superhero and character of all time.
